Rumisu is co-designed by two sisters; Pinar and Deniz with a mission to use a passion for beauty and creativity as a platform for phi- lanthropy. The brand creates ethically produced luxury accessories and ready-to-wear pieces that give back to their community. Driven by a love for illustration, Rumisu seeks the perfect canvas to tell a story through every print. Each piece is a unique narrative, ins- pired by everything from favorite fairy tales to mythological animal spirits. Conceptualized as wearable artwork, every design is hand-il- lustrated and transferred onto high-quality fabrics such as 100% silk, cotton, and wool. Each piece is produced in limited editions and finished with hand-rolled edges. Influenced by the rich crafts of Turkish culture, Rumisu integrates traditional elements into its designs. Many pieces feature unique crocheted accents inspired by the Turkish art of oya; all of which are handmade in Southeastern Turkey in collaboration with a UNDP project aimed at supporting the region’s women through sustai- nable economic development. Rumisu embraces playfulness and creativity, seeking to captivate the childlike spirit in all of us, regardless of age or gender.
